Alaska Airlines Increases Service from Anchorage and Portland with Seven New Routes

For summer 2026, Alaska Airlines will bolster service from Anchorage and Portland with seven new routes, including direct service to Boston and Jackson Hole, as well as to four destinations in Washington state.

On Thursday (December 18, 2025), Alaska Airlines announced the expansion of service from their Anchorage and Portland hubs. Starting in spring 2026, the carrier will offer three additional routes from Anchorage, with service to Boise, Boston and Spokane, as well as four additional routes from Portland, with service to Bellingham, Everett/Paine Field and Pasco in Washington state, and Jackson Hole in Wyoming. The new flights from Anchorage to Boise, Boston and Spokane will begin in mid-June and operate through mid-august, expanding Alaska’s Anchorage network to 17 direct destinations in the Lower 48 and Hawaii.
In Thursday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ VP – Revenue Management and Network Planning, Kirsten Amrine, said,
“Anchorage and Portland are essential airports to our guests and us in our growing global network. The state of Alaska remains high on the wish list of travelers, especially in the summer months, and we’re excited to add new nonstops to get them there. Portland in not only a great city to visit, but we also offer convenient nonstop connections for those continuing their travel across our wide network.”
With the addition of four new destinations next summer, Alaska's Portland network will grow to 65 nonstop destinations, including service to Hawaii and Mexico. From mid-March, Alaska will offer new daily, year-round service between Portland and Bellingham, Washington. Starting in mid-June, the carrier will launch double-daily year-round service between Portland and Pasco, Washington. Alaska will also resume daily, year-round flights between Portland and Everett, Washington, and twice-weekly service to Jackson Hole, Wyoming starting June 10, 2025.
