Air Lingus Launches Summer 2021 Schedule With Added Flexibility and Great Fares

In addition to their domestic and European Schedule, Aer Lingus will offer 12 nonstop North American routes for Summer 2021, including service to New York, Florida, San Francisco, Chicago and Toronto.

On Thursday (October 1, 2020), Aer Lingus announced the launch of their summer 2021 schedule with ‘Book with Confidence’ booking options, great fares and free unlimited changes on all routes and fare types. Guests of the airline are also being offered a guaranteed voucher and/or cash refund option on certain fare types. For summer 2021, fares to Europe start at only €25.99, while US and Canadian flights are available from €159. In Thursday’s announcement, Aer Lingus’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dave Shepherd, said,


“We are offering customers a range of choices. There are free unlimited changes on all routes and all fare types*. There is the option of a full cash refund** on our Advantage/Flex fares. And from today, our Smart/Plus fares includes a new feature so that customers can avail of a voucher up to 14 days before travel to any destination or within 14 days if a country’s travel guidance changes*** from just €25.99. Aer Lingus is giving our customers the confidence to dream, so you can start to plan next summer’s adventure today with confidence. Aer Lingus guests can travel with confidence as the carrier has introduced a range of safety measures guided by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). Mandatory facemasks are required by all customers and crew and social distancing is practiced a check-in, boarding and disembarking. Aer Lingus has also introduced enhanced aircraft cleaning protocols and their Airbus fleet has been fitted with state-of-the-art filtration technology.
