Air France will add new daily nonstop service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Newark Liberty International Airport for winter 2022/23. The new route will complement the carrier’s existing service to New York-JFK with six daily flights, and two more operated by Delta.
On Thursday (July 28, 2022), Air France announced the introduction of new daily service between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Newark Liberty International (EWR) airports for the winter 2022/23 season. The new route will complement the carrier’s existing service to new York-JFK. Newark service will start on December 12, 2022, and the route will be operated with a Boeing 777-200. The aircraft will be Wi-Fi equipped and configured with 40 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy and 216 Economy Class seats. The new daily flight, AF062, will depart Paris-CDG at 12:30 and arrive in at New York-JFK at 15:00, while the return flight, AF063, departs JFK at 17:05 and arrives in Paris at 06:05 the following morning.
Air France previously operated direct service to Newark until 2012. The new service is in addition to Air France’s high capacity ‘shuttle’ schedule introduced between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-JFK with six daily flights operated by Air France, and two operated by SkyTeam alliance partner Delta Air Lines. Newark becomes the airline’s 18th North American destination for Winter 2022/23, joining Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York- JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C in the United States, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, and Cancun and Mexico City in Mexico.
