Air France Releases Summer 2023 Schedule With 191 Destinations Across 89 Countries

Air France has released details of their summer 2023 schedule, which includes more flights to Asia, North America and East Africa. The flying program includes 191 destinations in 89 countries, including 66 seasonal routes in France and Europe.

On Thursday (March 16, 2023), Air France released details of their summer 2023 schedule, which is spearheaded by more flights to Asia, North America and East Africa. In total, the summer flying program includes up to 835 daily flights to 191 destinations across 89 countries, as well a 66 seasonal routes in France and Europe. Additionally, daily flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong will resume from July 1, 2023. Air France will also launch new routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) and Ottawa (Canada), as well as from Cayenne (French Guiana) to Belém (Brazil).


Air France will also boost service to Japan with up to 11 weekly flights to Tokyo-Haneda and three to Tokyo-Narita. For summer 2023, the carrier will also bolster North American service with up to 180 weekly flights to and from 14 U.S. destinations, and 50 weekly flights to/from five Canadian cities. Additionally, Air France will introduce new service between Paris-CDG and Ottawa on May 27, 2023. The route will operate five times weekly with and Airbus A330-200, making Air France the only airline operating direct flights between Ottawa and Europe.


Having remained very active In Africa during the pandemic, Air France will maintain seat capacities there at levels higher than in summer 2019. From June 12, 2023, the carrier will offer three weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania). The route will be operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner as a continuation of the service to Zanzibar. On the same date, Air France will also launch direct daily 787-9 service to Nairobi (Kenya). Additionally, from May 5, 2023, the airline will link Cayenne (French Guiana) and Belém (Brazil) once weekly with an Airbus A320. In total, Air France will offer service to 85 long-haul destinations for summer 2023.


Air France will also offer up to 65 daily departures to 106 French and European destinations. The carrier will also operate 66 seasonal routes in France and Europe, on departure from Paris and regional French airports. Additionally, Transavia France will operate nearly 200 short and medium-haul routes to 120 destinations, including 100 to/from Paris-Orly. Service to Corsica will be on offer from Paris, Bordeaux, Caen, Rennes, Lille and Nantes, while customers traveling to Greece will enjoy connections from Paris, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse. Algeria flights will operate from Paris, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse, and flights to Morocco and Tunisia will be offered from Paris Marseille and Nice.
