Air Dolomiti to Resume Service Between Linz and Frankfurt From June 27, 2021
Air Dolomiti will resume twice-daily service between Linz and Frankfurt starting on June 17, 2021, with flights operating seven days. The route will be codeshared with Lufthansa and customers will be eligible to enjoy Miles & More loyalty benefits.

On Thursday (May 13, 2021), Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group, announced the resumption of twice-daily service between Linz Airport and Frankfurt starting June 27, 2021. The daily flights will be codeshared with Lufthansa and customers will enjoy Miles & More loyalty program benefits. In Thursday’s announcement, Air Dolomiti’s President & CEO, Jörg Eberhart, said,
“We are very pleased to announce the resumption of flights from Linz Airport to Frankfurt: Passengers departing from Linz in Upper Austria will be able to easily reach Frankfurt and the several intercontinental destinations offered by the hub. In cooperation with the parent company Lufthansa, we will offer 2 daily flights to meet the needs of all our passengers. We are realizing this connection for the first time through a partnership with Linz Airport in line with the current challenging market conditions and look forward to a constructive cooperation.”

Air Dolomiti was founded in 1991 with the goal of connecting the main Italian airports to Germany, especially Munich and Frankfurt.
