Today (May 3, 2021), Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group, announced double daily flights between Milan-Linate and the Bavarian capital of Munich starting June 7, 2021. The route will be operated with a 120-seat Embraer E195 and will be codeshared with Lufthansa. To celebrate the route launch, Air Dolomiti is offering return fares starting at only €81 including taxes and surcharges. The new route will be included in the Group’s Miles & More loyalty program, allowing customers to benefit from the program’s benefits and awards.

In today’s announcement, Air Dolomiti’s President and CEO, Joerg Eberhart, said,

“I am pleased to announce the planning of these flights, which are part of a broader project that sees Air Dolomiti at the centre of a resumption of business and is a significant sign of confidence for the future, trusting in the easing of travel restrictions due to the health emergency. Munich will be easy to reach with our daily frequencies that will allow all passengers in the catchment area of Milan to be connected to a strategic hub and take advantage of the Lufthansa Group’s international network.”

Air Dolomiti was founded in 1991 with the goal of connecting smaller Italian cities with the rest of Europe. The company was acquired by the Lufthansa Group in 2003 and today serves as the Italian branch of Lufthansa flying from Italy’s main airports with normally over 550 weekly flights to Munich and Frankfurt. Air Dolomiti operates a fleet of 15 Embraer E195s and prides itself on being an efficient and reliable airline that puts customers first.
