Air Dolomiti Launches Inaugural Service Between Munich and Forlí, Italy

Today, Air Dolomiti launched their inaugural flight between Munich and Luigi Ridolfi Airport in Forlí, Italy. The flight was operated with an Embraer E195 departing Munich at 07:50 and arriving in Forlí at 09:00. The aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute.

On Monday (June 21, 2021), Air Dolomiti, the Italian Airline of the Lufthansa Group, announced the completion of their inaugural flight between Munich and Luigi Ridolfi Airport in Forlì, Italy. The flight took off from Munich at 07:50 and arrived on schedule in Forlì at 09:00. Upon arrival, the Embraer E195 was welcomed by a traditional water cannon salute from the ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting) team at Luigi Ridolfi Airport. Flights on the Munich-Forlì route will be operated twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays in codeshare with Lufthansa.


In today’s announcement, Air Dolomiti’s President & CEO, Joerg Eberhart, said,


“The departure of flights from Forlì to the Munich hub is another step towards the return to normal operations that expands our offer and guarantee travelers and increasingly more composed and efficient range of alternatives. We are taking great strides towards resuming our activities and collaborations, hopefully now without further setbacks, to make it possible to reach not only Bavaria, but also all the destinations envisaged by the many connections offered by Lufthansa.”
