Air Canada Launches Enchanting New Holiday Short Film Celebrating Togetherness

Air Canada has today unveiled their new heartfelt holiday short film, with the goal of enchanting Canadians with the message of togetherness. The animated spot called 'Together for the Holidays' stars a baby loon on a journey back to its loved ones.

On Monday (December 5, 2022), Air Canada unveiled their latest holiday short film which celebrates togetherness during the coming holiday season. The animated short is called ‘Together for the Holidays’ and stars a baby loon and its journey to make it back to its loved ones. The spot also features music by two Canadian artists, including Where You Are by Tenille Townes, one of Canada’s most critically acclaimed country artists, and Les échardes by four-tome 2022 Juno Award winner Charlotte Cardin.


In today’s announcment, Air Canada’s Vice President – Brand, Andy Shibata, said,


“It’s been a tradition for us to use magic and wonder in our storytelling when it comes to our holiday ads, as it is one of the most celebrated and heartfelt times of the year. Air Canada takes great pride in being the airline that plays a role in uniting family and friends to help them celebrate these special times.”


The short film was developed in partnership with FCB Canada and launches today in multiple formats. A combination of 90 and 60 second spots will be shown in cinemas, while 30 and 60 second versions will play on Canadian television. Additionally, 15 and 30 second versions will play across Air Canada’s social media and digital platforms.
