Aeroflot Takes Delivery of Two Cabin Retrofitted Boeing 777-300ERs

Aeroflot has taken delivery of two long-range Boeing 777-300ERs that have been retrofitted with new cabins for a superior guest experience. The aircraft can accommodate 427 passengers with 28 Super Diamond NG Business, 24 Comfort and 375 Economy Class seats.

On Friday (February 4, 2022), Aeroflot announced that they have taken delivery of two Boeing 777-300ERs with retrofitted cabins for an improved guest experience in all classes. The aircraft have been configured for 427 passengers with 28 Super Diamond NG Business Class, 24 Comfort Class and 375 Economy Class seats. The seat pitch in Economy Class averages 80 cm. and 96 cm. in Comfort Class, while Business Class guests will enjoy individual suites with a high level of privacy. In Business Class, sliding doors an extra armrest can turn a seat into a private suite featuring an 18.5-inch HD monitor and two meter full lie-flat bed.

Guests travelling in all classes will appreciate the latest generation Panasonic Ex3 multimedia inflight entertainment (IFE) system. In January 2022, Aeroflot enhanced their IFE concept, which now offers at least 60 Russian and international film premieres and 40 new highly rated IMDb movies monthly. The upgraded IFE offer features over 5,000 items of video, audio, entertainment and game content. High speed internet access (up to 30.Mb/sec) is also available onboard. The retrofitted 777s currently operate on routes to Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and will be deployed on popular domestic and international routes in the near future. Aeroflot operates one of the world's youngest fleets, with 186 aircraft in operation as of late January 2022, including 22 Boeing 777-300ERs.

In 2021, Brand Finance, a leading brand strategy consultancy, declared Aeroflot the strongest brand in Russia, as well as the “world’s strongest airline brand.” According to Bain and Company research, Aeroflot ranks fourth in the airline industry for digitalization.
