AerCap has reached an agreement with Turkish Airlines for the lease of three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 25 new Boeing 737-8 MAX jets. The Lessor has also extended leases with Türkiye’s national carrier for six used Airbus A330-200s.
On Tuesday (October 24, 2023), AerCap Holdings N.V. announced that they have reached an agreement with Turkish Airlines for the lease of three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 25 new Boeing 737-8 MAX airplanes for delivery from 2024 through 2028. The national carrier of Türkiye also extended leases on six used Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
In Tuesday’s announcement, AerCap’s Chief Executive Officer, Aengus Kelly, said,

These aircraft will help Turkish Airlines continue to grow their already extensive route network, while improving the operational efficiency of their fleet. Also commenting on the new lease agreements, Turkish Airlines’ Chief Investment & Technology Officer, Levent Konukcu, added,
