Aer Lingus Regional, operated exclusively by Emerald Airlines, has launched new seasonal once weekly service between Dublin and Jersey which will operate on Saturdays. The route will be operated with an ATR 72-600 regional turboprop aircraft.
On Monday (May 30, 2022), Aer Lingus Regional, operated exclusively by Emerald Airlines, announced the launch of new summer seasonal service between Dublin and Jersey. The route will operate once weekly on Saturdays and will be serviced with the latest generation ATR 72-600 regional turboprop aircraft. The ATR 72-600 offers unmatched environmental and economic performance with low fuel consumption and 40 percent less carbon emissions compared to similar capacity regional jets. Celebrating the launch of the new route, Aer Lingus Regional is offering introductory one-way fares from only £49.99, based on a return trip. The carrier also recently commenced service between Dublin and Belfast City.
In Monday’s announcment, Emerald Airlines’ Head of Commercial, Ciarán Smith, said,

Passengers from across Ireland will now have a direct link to Jersey throughout the summer months, making visiting family and friends a whole lot easier. We expect this route to prove popular with those travelling for leisure purposes to the island of Jersey, giving passengers the opportunity to experience Jersey’s renowned beaches and cliffside walking trails - all just a stone’s throw away from Dublin.
