Wizz Air will operate a seasonal Base at Bourgas Airport in Bulgaria between June 12th and September 12, 2021, with one based Airbus A320 and seven new routes, with service to Dortmund, Eindhoven, Kyiv, Liverpool, Poznan, Tel Aviv and Turku.

On Thursday (February 11, 2021), Wizz Air announced the opening of a new seasonal base at Bourgas Airport in Bulgaria. The base will operate from June 12th through September 12, 2021, and will house one aircraft, with service to seven destinations including Dortmund, Tel Aviv, Kyiv, Liverpool, Poznan, Tel Aviv, and Turku. Wizz Air has offered to service to Bulgaria since 2005 with their first flight from Sofia to Budapest. Over the past 16 years, the airline has carried over 16 million guests to and from Bulgaria. To celebrate the new base, Wizz has launched a sale with fares starting at only 48.99BGN/€24.99, with over 200,000 seats on sale from Bourgas in 2021. In today’s announcement, Wizz Air’s Senior Communications Manager, Andras Rado, said,
