Wizz Air announced on Monday that they will Launch Wizz Air Abu Dhabi on October 1st, 2020. The new carrier will start with two Abu Dhabi-based Airbus A321s and initially offer six destinations including Alexandria, Athens, Kutaisi, Larnaca Odesa and Yerevan.

On Monday, Wizz Air announced that the start of their new subsidiary, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, would occur on October 1st, 2020. The airline will launch with two brand new state-of-the-art Airbus A321neos at their Abu Dhabi base, initially offering routes to six destinations including Alexandria, Athens, Kutaisi, Larnaca, Odesa, and Yerevan. Four additional Airbus A321neos will be added to the base within the first six months of operation. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is a joint-venture between Wizz Air Holdings, plc and ADQ, one of the regions largest holding companies. Wizz Air further announced today the addition of five routes to Abu Dhabi including service from Bucharest, Budapest, Cluj-Napoca, Katowice and Sofia. In Monday’s announcement, Wizz Air’s Chief Executive Officer, József Váradi said,
