Volotea to Launch Three New Routes From Greece to Nantes and Bordeaux From Spring 2022

Volotea will launch twice weekly service from Athens to Nantes and Bordeaux, as well as one weekly flight between Zakynthos and Nantes. The new Bordeaux route will start on May 28th, while Athens-Nantes service begins on May 29th, and Zakynthos-Nantes flights start June 2nd.

On Wednesday (January 12, 2022), Volotea announced the launch of three new routes from Greece to Nantes and Bordeaux in France from Spring 2022. The carrier will offer two weekly flights from Athens to Bordeaux on Tuesdays and Saturdays from May 28th, while Athens-Nantes flights will launch on May 29th and will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route between Zakynthos and Nantes will be offered once weekly on Thursdays starting June 2, 2022. Volotea is committed to offering Greek customers a wide range of destinations, and with the launch of the new routes, the carrier will now serve 13 destinations from Athens.


In Wednesday’s announcement, Volotea’s Country Manager – Italy &Southeastern Europe, Valeria Rebasti, said,


“We are very happy to be able to announce the launch of these routes, showing our commitment to the Greek market and our desire to keep on growing and developing new connections. Thanks to the new routes, not only we will offer our Greek clients a wider range of destinations, but we will also allow more and more tourists to visit Greece also from France, increasing therefore job opportunities and economic development in the country.”
