Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer Program Partners With Department Store Chain Myer

Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program has entered to a new strategic partnership with Myer, operator of 58 department stores across Australia. Members can now use Velocity Points to shop over 200,000 items at myer.com.au.

On Tuesday (September 13, 2022), Virgin Australia announced that their Velocity Frequently Flyer program has entered into a new strategic partnership with Myer, operator of 58 department stores across Australia. Members can now use Velocity Points to shop over 200,000 products at myer.com.au across categories such as Womenswear, Menswear, Kids & Toys, Beauty, Home & Electrical and more. The partnership enhances the value proposition for customers who are MYER one and Velocity members, as they will receive MYER one credits for Velocity Points redeemed. In the midst of rising inflation, Velocity members can use Points and Points + Pay across an extensive range of household purchases. To use Velocity Points at Myer, shoppers simply need to select Velocity Points from the payment dropdown menu upon checkout and can either select full Points or Points + Pay.


In Tuesday’s announcment, Velocity Frequent Flyer’s CEO, Nick Rohrlach, said,
