Vietjet to Resume International Flights to Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei From September 29, 2020

Vietjet announced on Wednesday that they will resume international service to Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei from September 29, 2020. The carrier will offer weekly flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo-Narita and Seoul Incheon as flights between Hanoi and Taipei.

On Wednesday (September 16, 2020) Vietjet announced the resumption of international service to Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei starting September 29, 2020. The carrier will offer one weekly flight on Tuesdays between Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo-Narita as well as once-weekly service to Seoul-Incheon on Wednesdays. Additionally, Vietjet will resume service between Hanoi and Taipei with one weekly flight on Thursdays. Customers departing Vietnam must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 result taken within three days prior to departure and must comply with the mandatory medical quarantine requirements of the destination countries. Vietjet continues to operate global repatriation and cargo flights to transport passengers and critical goods.

All flights are operated in accordance with the highest global standards following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
