United Expands Summer 2026 Schedule with New Destinations in Croatia, Italy, Scotland and Spain

For summer 2026, United will add new service from New York/Newark to Split in Croatia, Glasgow, and Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The carrier will also offer exclusive direct service from Newark to Bari, Italy and Seoul South Korea.

On Thursday (October 9, 2025), United Airlines announced an expansion of their summer 2025 schedule the addition of four new cities across Croatia, Italy, Scotland and Spain. The carrier will launch exclusive direct service from Newark/New York EWR) to Split (Croatia), Bari (Italy), Glasgow (Scotland), and Santiago de Compostela (Spain). United is also adding their first service between Washington-Dulles and Reykjavik (Iceland), along with new nonstop year-round daily service from Newark/New York to Seoul, South Korea, and four additional weekly flights from Newark to Tel Aviv (Israel), for a total of 18 weekly flights.
In Thursday’s announcement, United Airlines’ SVP – Global Network Planning and Alliances, Patrick Quayle, said,

With the addition of these new flights and the return of all of our new routes from last year, United now flies to 46 cities across the Atlantic - more than any other airline - and is the clear flag carrier of the U.S.”
For summer 2026, United will continue to serve all nine destinations introduced last summer, including seasonal service to Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Nuuk (Greenland), Palermo (Italy), Bilbao (Spain), and both Madeira Island and Faro (Portugal).
