United Airlines to Offer Nonstop Service to Over 100 International Cities for Summer 2023

For summer 2023, United Airlines will offer direct service to 114 international destinations, including 25 new routes. United is already the largest carrier across the Atlantic and Pacific, and will increase flying by 25 percent versus last year.

On Thursday (April 6, 2023), United Airlines outlined their international summer 2023 flying program, which includes nonstop service to 114 cities, including 25 new routes. The airline has expanded their flying by 25 percent versus summer 2022 on a sharp increase in demand. Some of the highlights of United’s summer 2023 schedule include new service to Malaga, Dubai, and Stockholm, as well as increased frequencies to Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Shannon, Edinburgh and Naples. The carrier will also offer nearly two dozen daily flights to London Heathrow, and will also serve unique destinations such as Amman, the Azores, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife. Additionally, United has expanded service to Australia with flights to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The airline’s Asia network will include 10 daily trans-Pacific flights to Tokyo (Haneda & Narita) and Osaka, double-daily flights between San Francisco and Seoul, and flights from San Francisco to Hong Kong.


In Thursday’s announcement, United Airlines’ SVP – Global Network Planning and Alliances, Patrick Quayle, said,


“United will give travelers more options than ever before this summer – especially if they want to fly internationally. With unprecedented demand for travel overseas, we'll have more service to popular cities while also adding new and unique destinations for customers to explore.”
