United Airlines has today opened a new club concept at Denver International Airport. United Club Fly℠ is a first-of-its-kind concept for a U.S. airline that allows busy travelers to grab a snack, beverage or barista-made coffee on the way to their flight.
On Monday (November 7, 2022), United Airlines announced the launch of a novel ‘Grab-and-Go’ concept at the new airport club at Denver International Airport (DEN). The concept is called United Club Fly℠, and allows busy travelers to grab a snack, beverage or barista-made coffee on the way to their flight. A first for a U.S. Airline, United Club Fly℠ provides a guilt-free option to more than half of airport club and lounge visitors who enjoy taking snacks on the go. The new format follows the opening of new United Club’s at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
In Monday’s announcement, United Airlines’ Marketing & Loyalty VP and MileagePlus President, Luc Bondar, said,
“United Club Fly is all about elevated convenience. We know there are times when our members are in a hurry and use our clubs to sneak a quick drink or snack, so we’ve created this new format to make it easy for them to do that without sacrificing an upscale club environment. In Denver, more than two-thirds of our customers are connecting to other places, making it the ideal city to introduce this concept.”
Compared to a traditional United Club, the new airport club in Denver occupies a smaller footprint, and is conveniently located on a highly visible corner of the new Concourse B-East expansion. The market-style club features a range on non-alcoholic drinks, premium snacks, and a place to order barista-made coffee beverages. Visitors to the new United Club Fly℠ in Denver simply self-scan their boarding pass at the automated entry gates. Next, they can select a snack or two from a premium selection of food options such as sandwiches, salads, wraps, yogurt, vegetables fruit and more. After ordering a barista-made coffee beverage, or selecting their other favorite non-alcoholic beverage at the self-service beverage counter, visitors can walk out the exit turnstile, with no checkout required.
