Ukraine International Airlines Adds More Destinations to Summer 2020 Flight Schedule

Ukraine International Airlines announced on Thursday additions to their summer 2020 flight schedule thanks to easing of some travel restrictions. The carrier will operate domestic services to Kherson, Odesa and Lviv as well as numerous international destinations.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) announced on Thursday (June 25, 2020) the addition of more destinations to their summer 2020 flight schedule due to the easing of some travel restrictions. The Ukrainian Government has designated departure countries into either red or green zones, where passengers traveling from green zone countries are not required to undergo observation or self-isolation. Customers returning from red zone countries will remain under a 14-day mandatory observation period. Between July 1st and July 30, 2020, the carrier will offer non-return domestic flights to Odesa, Lviv and Kerson once weekly on Fridays, with return flights to Kyiv on Sundays. During the first half of August the Kyiv to Odessa timetable will change with flights operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and return Odessa-Kyiv service on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. UIA plans on adding frequencies to Odesa on Thursdays with return flights to Kyiv on Fridays between August 16th and 31st.


From July 1st through July 15th UIA plans on offering international service between Kyiv (KBP) and Istanbul (IST) on Fridays and Sundays and flights from Odesa (ODS) to Istanbul on Saturdays. Kyiv-Tel Aviv (TLV) service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays and Odesa-Tel Aviv service will be offered on Sundays. Additionally, the carrier will operate twice-weekly services between Kyiv and Amsterdam (AMS) on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while Kyiv-Paris (CDG) flights will be available on Wednesdays and Sundays. Between July 16th and July 30th, Ukraine international Airlines will add frequencies from Kyiv to Istanbul and Tel Aviv on Tuesdays, while flights to Dubai (DXB) will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the second half of July, the airline will further expand their international offer from Kyiv with service to Larnaca (LCA) on Saturdays, Athens (ATH) on Sundays, London (LGW) on Mondays and Fridays and Toronto (YYZ) on Saturdays. The return flight between Toronto and Kyiv will operate on Sundays.


During August, UIA will expand their international destination offer by adding 2-3 weekly frequencies. The carrier’s August route map will also include service between Kyiv and Nice (NCE), Rome (FCO), Kaku (GYD), Berlin (TXL), Milan (MXP), Prague (PRG), Yerevan (EVN), Chisinau (KIV), Madrid (MAD), Munich (MUC), Frankfurt (FRA), Vienna (VIE) and Barcelona (BCN). UIA will update their August schedule throughout July based on objective market conditions.
