TAP Air Portugal to Operate 11 Additional Weekly Frequencies to Brazil for Summer 2024

TAP Air Portugal is expanding their summer 2024 schedule with 91 weekly departures from Portugal, including 11 additional weekly frequencies connecting Brazil’s main cities to Lisbon and Porto.

On Friday (September 1, 2023), TAP Air Portugal announced an expansion of their summer 2024 flying program, with 91 weekly departures from Portugal, including 11 additional weekly frequencies from Brazil’s main cities to Lisbon and Porto. The airline’s Brazil network expansion includes three more weekly frequencies from Lisbon to Recife for a total of 10, two additional weekly flights to Rio de Janeiro, for a total 12, as well as one additional weekly return between Portugal and São Paulo, Belém, Brasilia, Natal, Maceio, Porto Alegre and Salvador.

TAP will also increase service to Maputo, Mozambique from three to four weekly flights. For summer 2024, the carrier’s North American network will see an increase in service to Toronto with 13 weekly flights, while San Francisco flights will grow from five to six weekly flights. Additionally, the carrier will add another daily flight to Rome, expanding their schedule to the Italian capital to 35 weekly frequencies. Finally, TAP Air Portugal will grow their schedule to Florence from eight to 10 weekly flights.
