In a separate press release on Monday (December 19, 2022) TAP Air Portugal announced a new partnership with Benamôr, a historic Portuguese cosmetics and toiletries brand, reinforcing the Portuguese roots of both brands worldwide. Over the next few months, Benamôr liquid soaps will be available onboard, creams will be included in the Business Class amenity kits, and bath & beauty products will be available at the TAP lounge at Lisbon Airport.
Benamôr was founded by a mysterious Portuguese apothecary in 1925, who created miraculous ointments in his laboratory at Campo Grande, no. 189 in Lisbon. The unique beauty products were developed and prepared by hand, combining natural ingredients from Portuguese Botany with sensual perfumes. Packaged in art deco tubes, the products became a hit among the beauties of Lisbon society, including Queen Amélia, who remained loyal to the brand for life.
