SWISS has once again launched their traditional ‘LXmas’ program to help get guests and those staying at home in a festive holiday mood. Some flights will feature familiar Christmas characters, and elsewhere, SWISS Christmas Elves are working their magic.

On Monday (December 5, 2022), Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced the launch of their traditional annual ‘LXmas’ program, spreading holiday cheer to travelers and those staying at home alike. Guests traveling on select flights will feature some familiar Christmas characters, and will be greeted with a hearty ‘Ho, ho, ho.’ Elsewhere, SWISS Christmas Elves will be hard at work creating other small surprises for their guests. On the ground, the popular SWISS Singers are already serenading travelers at Zurich Airport with festive seasonal tunes.
In Monday’s announcement, SWISS’ Head of Marketing, Stefan Vasic, said,
“I’m delighted that this year, too, we can offer our guests a range of fun features and surprises to help spread the seasonal magic and get everyone in a festive mood. We’ve also made a conscious decision to opt for numerous smaller attractions. After all, it’s often the little things that are the most magical of all. And the Christmas spirit has rarely been more welcome than in times such as these.”

As part of the ‘LXmas’ program, customers are also enjoying the opportunity to win SWISS flights and Business Class upgrades. Additionally, with a little luck, guests traveling to their destination may end up on SWISS’ festive Airbus A320neo, which features a Red Nose for the Advent season. Customers staying at home can guess online where the next ‘LXmas’ activity will take place, while simultaneously earning the opportunity to win flight vouchers.
