SWISS will expand their long-haul schedule for winter 2023/24, with added frequencies to Miami, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cairo, among other destinations.
On Wednesday (April 26, 2023), Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced an expansion of long-haul services in their winter 2023/24 schedule. The carrier will add more flights to Miami, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cairo, among others. For winter 2023, service to Miami will be doubled compared to summer 2023 with up to 14 weekly flights, while flights to Shanghai will double to six weekly services. SWISS will also offer daily service to both Singapore and Cairo for winter 2023/24.
In Wednesday’s announcement, SWISS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, said,
“SWISS is currently experiencing a lot of demand and a still strong desire to travel, despite all the economic and political uncertainties. We’re very pleased to be further expanding our range of long-haul services this coming winter, within the overall framework of our long-term network planning, to offer our customers an even more attractive choice of flights. But while doing so, it remains our paramount objective to provide our passengers with stable and reliable flight operations.”
In total, SWISS will offer service to 21 long-haul destinations for the winter 2023/24 season which runs from October 29, 2023 through March 30, 2024.
