SWISS has Named Julia Hillenbrand as the company’s new Head of Brand Experience. In her new role, Ms. Hillenbrand succeeds Caroline Drischel, who became Head of Corporate Responsibility for the Lufthansa Group on April 1st, 2022.
On Friday (May 13, 2022), SWISS announced the appointment of Julia Hillenbrand, currently the Lufthansa Group’s Director of Sales for Western Europe based in Madrid, as the carrier’s new Head of Brand Experience. In her new role, Ms. Hillenbrand succeeds Caroline Drischel, who became Lufthansa Group’s Head of Corporate Responsibility on April 1st, 2022. She will take up her new duties in July 2022, and as Head of Brand Experience will be responsible for leading a team managing the entire SWISS brand and guest experience, as well as product and marketing. Julia Hillenbrand will be reporting directly to SWISS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Tamur Goudarzi Pour.
In Friday’s announcment, SWISS’ CCO, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, said,
“With her many years of marketing and commercial experience within the Lufthansa Group, Julia Hillenbrand is the ideal appointee to this vital position. I am convinced that, with her extensive expertise, she will successfully further develop and refine our attractive and valued SWISS brand. Julia Hillenbrand has been in her current Madrid-based Senior Director Sales position since 2019, initially responsible for markets in Spain and Portugal, but also for all of Western Europe from May 2021. Between 2016 through 2019, she served as the Group’s Singapore-based Director Sales Product and Programs – Asia Pacific, and from 2014 through 2016 was SWISS’ London-based Head of Marketing & Pricing for the UK and Ireland. Additionally, between 2005 and 2014, Ms. Hillenbrand served in various capacities within the Lufthansa Group in Business Optimization & Network Planning, Business Development, and Marketing & Sales, including a number of years in Switzerland.
Julia Hillenbrand is a German national and holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from Pforzheim University. She has lived in 11 different countries and speaks six languages, with fluency in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
