Sunshine Coast Airport Partners with Tech Company Elenium to Deliver World Class Passenger Experience

Sunshine Coast Airport has today announced that Australian tech company Elenium Automation has been selected as the supplier of their new check-in technology, which will be incorporated into the recently announced terminal redevelopment.

On Thursday (October 30, 2025), Sunshine Coast Airport announced that Australian tech company Elenium Automation has been selected as the supplier of their new check-in technology to be incorporated into the recently announced terminal redevelopment project. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the new state-of-the-art check-in technology will be incorporated for a more efficient check-in with 18 self-service kiosks and 10 automatic bag drops. From 2026, the equipment will go live, streamlining check-in for guests transiting one of Australia’s fastest growing airports.
In Thursday’s announcement, Sunshine Coast Airport’s CEO, Chris Mills, said,

It reflects our commitment to improving the passenger experience while futureproofing the airport for continued growth. With millions of passengers expected through our terminal in the coming years, the introduction of self-service kiosks and automated bag drops will streamline check-in and reduce wait times.”
