Sun Country Airlines has named Jennifer Vogel as the company’s new Chair of the Board of Directors. Ms. Vogel served as the former SVP, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer at Continental Airlines, and has been on Sun Country’s Board since 2022.
On Tuesday (March 7, 2023), Sun Country Airlines announced the appointment of Jennifer Vogel as the company’s new Chair of the Board of Directors. Ms. Vogel previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer at Continental Airlines, Inc. While at Continental, she played key roles in helping the airline achieve substantial global expansion, including Continental’s merger with United Airlines. She also currently serves on the Board of AAR Corp., and previously served on the Boards of Virgin America Inc., American Science and Engineering Inc., and Clearwire Corporation. Vogel replaces David Siegel, who is stepping down from the Board due to a business conflict not related to the airline.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Sun Country Airlines’ CEO, Jude Bricker, said,

Also commenting on her new appointment as Board Chairperson, Jennifer Vogel, said,
