Starting January 15, 2026, STARLUX Airlines will launch new direct service between Phoenix and Taipei. Initially the route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350 aircraft, increasing to four times weekly from March 2026.

On Tuesday (July 29, 2025), STARLUX Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop service between Phoenix and Taipei. Starting January 15, 2026, the route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with an Airbus A350, increasing to four weekly flights from March 2026 with an additional Saturday flight. This marks Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport’s very first connection to Asia. With the presence Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) in Phoenix, as well as other leading tech companies, the new route will help deepen the exchange between Phoenix and Taiwan.
In Tuesday’s announcement, STARLUX Airlines’ CEO, Glenn Chai, said,
“We are honored to launch the first nonstop flight connecting Arizona and Asia. As the fifth largest city in the U.S., Phoenix presents tremendous potential for both business and leisure travel. From its rich tourism offerings to its emergence as a hub for innovation and technology, the city continues to attract global at-attention - especially with the influx of leading tech companies. TSMC’s presence has further encouraged the development of surrounding industries and deepened the exchange between Taiwan and Phoenix. This new route will meet the growing travel demand between the two regions and reinforces STARLUX commitment to fostering meaningful connections across the Pacific.”

Also commenting on STARLUX’s new Taipei service, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, said,
“Phoenix’s place as a premier American city is further cemented today with STARLUX Airline’s new Phoenix to Taipei nonstop service now being available for purchase. This a testament to our market’s international business growth and Phoenix Sky Harbor being one of the most well-run airports in the world.”
Currently, STARLUX Airlines operates 10 weekly flights between Los Angeles and Taipei, as well as daily service connecting Taipei with both San Francisco and Seattle. Additionally, the carrier offers four weekly flights between Ontario, California and Taipei. As STARLUX continues to expand their North American network, travelers will enjoy more seamless connections to major Asian cities via Taipei.
