Starting July 11th through September 4, 2023, Southwest Airlines will offer new daily nonstop service to Washington D.C.'s Reagan National Airport from both Memphis, Tennessee and Albany, New York.
On Thursday (May 18, 2023), Southwest Airlines announced the launch of new daily summer seasonal service to Washington D.C.’s Reagan National Airport (DCA) from both Memphis, Tennessee (MEM) and Albany, New York (ALB). From Reagan National, Southwest currently offers up to 45 daily departures to destinations across the U.S. Tickets are now bookable for the airline’s entire schedule through November 4, 2023.
Southwest continues to lead the industry with customer-friendly policies, including the ability to check up to two bags for free, zero change and cancellation fees, and flight credits that never expire.
In Thursday’s route announcement, Southwest Airlines’ Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Watterson, said,
“The additional slots that became available for this upcoming summer will allow Southwest to bring the benefits of competition, convenience, and our best-in-class service by linking more cities nonstop with Washington, D.C. With our all-Boeing 737 fleet, Customers enjoy large-jet service on every flight, whether they're traveling from Washington, D.C., to Albany and Memphis or throughout our expansive network of more than 120 destinations.”
