SkyTeam Unveils Refurbished Lounge at Vancouver International Airport

SkyTeam has unveiled a refreshed lounge at Vancouver International Airport.  SkyTeam Elite Plus, First and Business Class guests can now look forward to an elevated experience when flying internationally through YVR.

On Wednesday (June 11, 2025), SkyTeam unveiled their newly refreshed lounge at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).  SkyTeam Elite Plus, First and Business Class guests will now enjoy an enhanced travel experience when flying internationally through YVR.  The completely refurbished 528 square-meter lounge features a refreshed modern design, updated furniture, and an updated layout, including dedicated areas for relaxation or productivity. 

In Wednesday’s announcement, SkyTeam’s CEO, Patrick Roux, said,

“We’re proud to unveil the revitalized SkyTeam Lounge at Vancouver International Airport, a space that reflects our updated brand identity and ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our customers.  Whether travelers are looking to unwind, work or enjoy a bite to eat before their flight, the refreshed YVR Lounge offers a welcoming and comfortable environment designed for their needs.”

SkyTeam’s refreshed Vancouver lounge is located near Gate 53 in the west wing of International Concourse D.  Spanning two wings, the lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the runway and surrounding mountains.  Visitors will enjoy comfortable seating with charging points, shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and other amenities. 

As SkyTeam’s first lounge in North America, and offers a taste of local and international flavors.  The dining area serves fresh, seasonal cuisine throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Guests can also visit the noodle station, or help themselves to a hot and cold buffet selection, featuring internationally inspired menus, along with a self-service bar with vintages selected from wineries along the Pacific Northwest and beers sourced from some of Vancouver’s finest microbreweries.

SkyTeam’s Vancouver lounge is open 24/7, and the airport serves a number of SkyTeam member airlines, including Aeromexico, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Korean Air and Xiamen Airlines.
