Singapore Airlines Group Reports Record FY 2024/2025 Net Profit of $2.8 Billion

Singapore Airlines Group has reported a full year 2024/2025 net profit of $2.8 billion on a year-over-year increase in revenue of 2.8 percent to $19.5 billion. At March 31, 2025, the Group had cash and bank balances totaling $8.3 billion.

On Thursday (May 15, 2025), Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group reported their full year 2024/2025 financial results for the period ending March 31, 2025. The Group reported a record net profit of $2.8 billion on a 2.8 percent year-over-year increase in revenue to $19.5 billion. At the end of the period, the company has cash and bank balances totaling $8.3 billion, and $1.3 billion in fixed deposits with maturity dates exceeding 12 months, as well as additional liquidity of $3.3 billion in committed and undrawn credit facilities.
At March 31, 2025, SIA Group’s operating fleet included 205 aircraft with an average age of seven years and eight months. Singapore Airlines operated 145 passenger aircraft and seven freighters, while Scoot operated 53 passenger aircraft. In April 2025, the Group added one new Airbus A321neo and one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to their fleet, and as of May 1st, 2025, the company had a total of 78 aircraft on order. At the end of March 2025, Singapore Airlines Group’s passenger network covered 28 destinations in 36 countries and territories, with SIA serving 79 destinations, while Scoot operated flights to 71 destinations.

For the Northern Summer 2025 season, which operates from March 30, 2025, through October 25, 2025, SIA will increase frequencies to Brisbane, Colombo, Jakarta, Johannesburg, London Gatwick, Manila and Seattle. Scoot launched new service to Iloilo City in April 2025, and will start new service to Vienna in June 2025.
SIA announced a $1.1 billion investment in November 2024 to install all new long-haul cabins across their Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range (ULR) fleet, bolstering their premium positioning and elevating the end-to-end guest journey. This included the introduction of a new First Class cabin on seven A350-900ULRs, setting new industry standards on the world’s largest routes. In April 2025, SIA also announced a $45 million transformation of their SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2. The refreshed lounges will feature 50 percent more space and seating capacity, upgraded facilities, and signature features from SIA’s flagship lounges at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3, along with a wider variety of food and beverage options.
