On Thursday (February 17, 2022), SAS announced an expansion of their summer 2022 schedule, which will now offer 230 direct routes from Scandinavia to 120 destinations, including 150 weekly flights to North America. The carrier will resume service between Copenhagen and Boston and add a second daily departure from Copenhagen to New York. With rising demand for flights to Southern Europe, SAS will also offer 500 weekly flights to popular destinations such as Alicante, Barcelona, Nice, Malaga and Milan.

SAS is also launching new service between Stockholm and Warsaw with double daily flights, and will resume flights to a range of destinations including Birmingham and Hannover from Copenhagen, as well as to Edinburgh from both Oslo and Stockholm. Additionally, the carrier will offer up to 17 daily departures from Scandinavia to London. This spring, SAS will also launch a new route from Copenhagen to Kristiansand, with two daily departures, and will increase capacity on routes such as Oslo-Bergen, Oslo-Trondheim, Bergen-Stavanger, Stockholm-Luleå, Copenhagen-Aalborg, and between the Scandinavian capitals.
