Today (August 6, 2020), Ryanair announced that they will restore over 60 percent of their pre-pandemic flight schedule during August 2020. The airline will increase frequencies throughout August with 1,600 routes and more than 11,000 weekly flights to over 200 European destinations. As customers prepare for August travel, Ryanair reminds their guests to observe all healthy flying measures that been in place since last May, including the mandatory use of facemasks. To celebrate their flight schedule restoration, the carrier has launched a fare sale with one-way flights from €19.99. In Thursday’s announcement, Ryanair’s CEO, Eddie Wilson said,

“Since the resumption of our schedule in late June, passenger numbers have continued to grow and as a result, we’re delighted to announce that our flight schedule is set to increase to more than 60% in August. We are pleased to see our people and customers adopt to our healthy flying measures and encourage all those traveling with us in August to continue to do so. As traveler confidence returns, we look forward to welcoming back our customers, who can fly on the lowest fares to over 200 destinations across Europe. We’re also proud to play our part in helping Europe’s tourism industry take off again. Seats for all these flights are now on sale at or through the Ryanair app, with process starting from just €19.99 one way.”
