On Monday (January 26, 2025), Ryanair reported their fiscal third quarter financial results for the period ending December 31, 2025.  The carrier reported a Q3 profit after tax (PAT) or net profit of €115 million on a 9.0 percent year-over-year increase in revenue to €3.21 billion.  This result is pre-exceptional, and excludes an exceptional €85 million partial charge for an Italian AGCM fine, which Ryanair is appealing.

In Monday’s announcement, Ryanair Group’s CEO, Michael O’Leary, said in part,

At December 31, 2025, Ryanair had gross cash totaling €2.4 billion, following €1.2 billion in debt repayments, €1.4 billion in CAPEX, and €600 million in shareholder distributions.  The company’s net cash totaled €1.0 billion at the end of the period, with liquidity further boosted by Group’s revolving credit facility which has approximately €1.0 billion undrawn.

At the close of Q3 FY2026, the Group had 206 B737-8200 ‘Gamechangers’ in their total fleet of 643 aircraft.  Ryanair expects to receive the final 4 Gamechangers (210 total) by the end of February 2026.  Boeing expects 737-10 MAX certification during summer 2026 and is increasingly confident that they will meet their contract delivery dates for Ryanair’s first 15 MAX-10s in Spring 2027, with 300 of these fuel-efficient aircraft due to deliver by March 2034.
