Qatar Airways will launch three weekly flights to Santorini, Greece from June 7, 2022, joining Athens and Mykonos to become the carrier’s third Greek destination. The Doha-Santorini route will be operated with an Airbus A320 featuring 12 Business and 132 Economy seats.
On Tuesday (March 8, 2022), Qatar Airways announced the launch of three weekly seasonal flights between Doha and Santorini, Greece starting June 7, 2022. Santorini becomes the carrier’s third Greek destination, joining four weekly flights to Mykonos which will start the same week, and service to Athens which will increase to a double-daily frequency. The Doha-Santorini route will be operated with an Airbus A320 featuring 12 Business Class and 132 Economy Class seats. Santorini is one of the jewels in the Aegean Sea and is known for its distinctive blue and white architecture known as Thira. Visitors will enjoy wonderful cuisine and hospitality set against one of the most famous views in the world.
In Tuesday’s announcment, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,
“We are pleased to add Santorini to our global network in 2022, with this exciting new destination joining Athens and Mykonos to become our third gateway in this beautiful country. We are committed to offering our passengers as many seamless one-stop connection choices as possible. This expansion will further solidify our relationship with Greece.”
