Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Seven Destinations, Launches Service to Luanda and San Francisco

The carrier will resume service to Algiers, Kyiv, Miami, Phuket, Seychelles, Tbilisi and Warsaw and will also launch new service to Luanda, Angola and San Francisco on December 14th and 15th respectively.

Today (November 11, 2020), Qatar Airways announced the resumption of flights to seven destinations including Algiers, Kyiv, Miami, Phuket, Tbilisi and Warsaw. The carrier will also launch new service to Luanda, Angola with one weekly flight and San Francisco with four flights weekly from December 14th and 15th respectively. In Wednesday’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,

“We are delighted to continue rebuilding our network, resuming routes and adding new destinations. We have made it our priority to not only restart most of our existing destinations as soon as possible but also to launch new routes. Our fleet of technologically advanced, sustainable aircraft has enabled us to lead the industry operating more frequencies to provide our passengers increased connectivity and the flexibility to travel when they want. With more than 700 weekly flights currently to just over 100 destinations, and plans to increase our network to more than 125 destinations by the end of the IATA Winter Season, our passengers will enjoy more options to travel when they want across the globe, safely and reliably.”

Qatar Airways normally serves over 170 global destinations with a fleet of more than 250 modern aircraft. The airline’s primary hub is located at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
