Qatar Airways and British Airways Launch New Multi-Branded Credit Card With IndusInd Bank

In partnership with Indian Bank IndusInd, Qatar Airways and British Airways are launching a multi-branded Visa credit card. The card will be available in the first quarter of FY 2023-24, and will provide cardholders with the ability to earn more Avios.

On Thursday (January 5, 2023), Qatar Airways announced the launch of a new multi-brand Visa credit card in partnership with British Airways and IndusInd Bank of India. The card will be available to consumers during the first quarter of financial year 2023-24, and will allow British Airways Executive Clun and Qatar Airways Privilege Club to earn more Avios and other valuable benefits. The multi-branded Infinite Visa will offer best-in-class rewards and benefits which will elevate the customer travel experience. At the time of application, customers will have the opportunity to select their preferred loyalty program and select their preferred travel destination to collect maximum Avios and a host of other benefits.


In Thursday’s announcement, Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Antinori, said,


“When adopting Avios as our rewards currency, we promised members that new and exciting opportunities would come, this collaboration with oneworld® partner British Airways is another manifestation of this. We look forward to seeing our members in India availing the extensive benefits of this new partnership, which is designed to enhance their future travels.”


Also commenting on the new multi-branded Visa card, IAG Loyalty’s Head of Financial Partnerships, Oliver Currell, said,


“We are delighted to launch the new British Airways and Qatar Airways credit card with IndusInd Bank, a unique multi-brand credit card. The Avios currency will give Indian consumers great value rewards and opportunities to do more when it comes to global travel and experiences.”

IndusInd Bank’s Head of Consumer Banking & Marketing, Mr. Soumitra Sen, added,
