On Thursday (November 30, 2023), Qantas announced that their Qantas Frequent Flyer loyalty program has partnered with Accent Group, offering members more opportunities to earn and redeem points. Members can now earn two Qantas Points per dollar spent at over 670 retail footwear and apparel stores across Australia, including The Athlete’s Foot, Platypus, Skechers, Stylerunner and Hype DC. From mid-2024, members will also be able to redeem their Qantas Points when shopping instore, as well as earning and redeeming points when shopping online across an expanded range of Accent Group brands.

In Thursday’s announcement, Qantas Loyalty’s CEO, Olivia Wirth, said,

“This partnership with Accent Group opens up new opportunities for our frequent flyers when they’re shopping at hundreds of retail stores across Australia. Members have told us that they value being rewarded for their everyday spend and using Qantas Points to save cash when shopping, and we’ve seen this in the success of our other partnerships. Expanding the retail options for our members to earn and use Qantas Points is one of the ways that we can offer more value, particularly when consumers are more conscious of their spending.”

Also commenting on the new loyalty partnership, Accent Group’s CEO, Daniel Agostinelli, said,

“Our partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer is a great alignment for Accent Group and allows us to give even more value back to our loyal customers and ensure we continue to deliver the best omni channel experiences.”

During FY2023, more Qantas Points were earned on the ground than in the air. Now, members can earn even more points when shopping instore at Accent Group Brands, including The Athlete’s Foot, Platypus, Skechers, Hype DC, Dr. Martens, Subtype, Stylerunner, Vans, The Trybe, Timberland, Merrell and Hoka.
