From January 2024, Porter Airlines will launch new service from Toronto Pearson to Los Angeles and San Francisco. Both routes will operate daily with a 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
On Tuesday (October 3, 2023), Porter Airlines announced the addition of Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) to their Toronto Pearson (YYZ) network from January 16th and January 25, 2024, respectively. Both routes will operate daily with a single-class 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a two-by-two configuration with no middle seats. Connections are available across Porter’s Canadian network, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and St. Johns. The new LAX and SFO routes are Porter’s first to the western U.S., and will complement the five E195-E2 destinations in Florida launching this fall, including Tampa, Fort Myers, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
