This summer, Norwegian Air Shuttle guests will have access to a record number of self-service kiosks and bag drop counters at airports across Europe. Customers traveling from Nice, Vienna, Vilnius, Tallin and more can use the technology to avoid the long lines.

On Wednesday (July 16, 2025), Norwegian Air Shuttle (Norwegian) announced the deployment of a record number of self-service kiosks and bag drop counters at European airports ahead of the busy summer travel season. Modern travelers increasingly want to use technology to manage their travel on their own, from booking and check-in, to baggage allowances and printing baggage tags. Norwegian has therefore collaborated with several airports in its route network over the past year to facilitate more automated and user-friendly solutions.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome Maursund, said,
“This summer, check-in and baggage drop-off will be faster and more efficient at many more airports than before. Customers traveling from Nice, Vienna, Vilnius, Tallinn and Manchester, among others, can now use check-in kiosks and drop off their luggage themselves without standing in long queues.”
Norwegian customers can use the bag drop at Aalborg, Umeå, Vienna, Vilnius, Visby and Aarhus. Self-service check-in kiosks are now available in Vienna, Brussels, Prague, Berlin, Munich, Aalborg, Billund, Copenhagen, Tallin, Alicante, Malaga, Helsinki, Kittilä, Rovaniami, Paris, Nice, London, Manchester, Dublin, Reykjavik, Venice, Vilnius, Amsterdam, Ålesund, Alta, Bardufoss, Bergen, Bodø, Evenes, Haugesund, Kirkenes, Kristiansand, Lakselv, Longyearbyen, Molde, Oslo, Stavanger, Tromsø, Trondheim, Sandefjord-Torp, Warsaw, Funchal, Porto, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Kiruna, Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Visby and Istanbul.
