Norwegian Air to Increase Weekly Departures From Oslo to Malaga, Alicante and Las Palmas

Norwegian Air Shuttle is increasing weekly departures from Oslo to popular sunny holiday destinations including Malaga, Alicante and Las Palmas. In total, the carrier will offer up to 30 weekly nonstop flights to these three destinations.

On Monday (November 8, 2021), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced an increase in weekly frequencies from Oslo to popular sun and fun destinations including Malaga, Alicante and Las Palmas. The frequency increase from Oslo to Malaga and Alicante will take place between November 17th and December 18th, while an extra flight will be added to Las Palmas from December 14th until the New Year. The service between Oslo and Malaga will increase from nine to 11 weekly departures, with additional flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Oslo-Alicante route will increase from nine to 10 weekly departures, with extra flights on Thursdays. Service between Oslo and Las Palmas will be increased from eight to nine weekly flights, with one extra flight on Tuesdays. In total, Norwegian will offer up to 30 weekly nonstop flights to these three destinations.


In Monday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Vice President for Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, Christoffer Sundby, said,


“We are pleased to see that Norwegians show a desire to travel now that we are entering the winter months and that the flights to Spain are almost full. We of course want to meet this demand, and therefore set up several weekly departures from mid-November.”
