Lynx Air Unveils New Uniforms, Publishes Schedule Ahead of April 7th Launch

Lynx Air has unveiled a sneak preview of their new crew uniforms and published their schedule ahead of their April 7, 2022, launch. The new Canadian ultra-affordable airline will operate a fleet of three brand new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.

On Thursday (March 24, 2022), Lynx Air, Canada’s new ultra-affordable airline, unveiled their crew uniforms and published their inaugural schedule ahead of the carrier’s April 7, 2022 launch. The uniforms feature the airline’s signature red and white color scheme, with the distinctive Lynx ‘paw print’ appearing on the female uniform’s snow-white neck scarf. Lynx will offer coast to coast service across Canada from Victoria to St. John’s and eight destinations in between, including Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton and Halifax. To celebrate the upcoming launch, Lynx is offering introductory one-way fares from $39 (taxes and fees included). The airline’s inaugural return flight between Calgary and Vancouver will take place on April 7th.
In Thursday’s announcment, Lynx Air’s CEO, Merren McArthur, said,

We have designed a uniform in which they can feel both proud and comfortable as they direct their energy to ensure a positive flying experience for all our passengers. The entire Lynx team is counting down the days until we can take off and open the skies to Canadians, helping them re-connect with their favourite people and places. To celebrate, we are offering travelers the opportunity to win a free weekend getaway to experience one of Lynx’s destinations.”

Lynx Air is Canada’s new ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) which was founded with the mission of making travel accessible to all Canadians with low fares, great customer service, and a fleet of brand new Boeing 737 aircraft. Lynx will launch with three new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft and plans on expanding their fleet to 46 aircraft over the next seven years. The carrier is privately-owned and has the financial backing and industry expertise to transform the competitive aviation landscape in Canada.
