Lufthansa to Successively Equip Short and Medium Haul Fleet With New Cabins from Spring 2025

Starting spring 2025, Lufthansa will successively equip 38 Airbus A320s with a new innovative cabin, which includes larger overhead bins, a dedicated USB port at each seat, a tablet and smartphone holder, and new ergonomic seats with more legroom.

On Wednesday (September 27, 2023), Lufthansa announced that they will equip their short and medium-hail aircraft with new cabins. From spring 2025, the carrier will successively equip 38 Airbus A320s with the new innovative cabin product. The new cabin will offer guests 40 percent larger overhead bins which can hold twice as many carry-on bags, a dedicated USB port at every seat, a tablet/smartphone holder, and new ergonomic seats by the Italian manufacturer Geven, which offer more legroom.
