On Monday (December 15, 2025), Lufthansa announced that their lounge at Stuttgart Airport will reopen on Wednesday, December 16, 2025.  Following a complete renovation, the refreshed lounge features areas for work, relaxation and privacy, and is divided into both a Business Class and Senator Lounges to provide tailored guest needs.  The refurbished Lufthansa Lounge at Stuttgart has a Barista coffee bar, various multi-comfort zones, areas for eating, working and relaxing, as well as retreats for more privacy.

In Monday’s announcement, Lufthansa Airlines’ CCO and Hub Manager – Munich, Heiko Reitz, said,

“Many status guests sorely missed ‘their lounge’ in Stuttgart during the closure.  I am therefore all the more delighted that we can finally reopen the Business and Senator Lounges after extensive renovation and with a new concept.”

Lounge entry at the refurbished Stuttgart space is achieved via an automated and digital access control system.  Both Business Class and Senator areas feature different zones to meet the individual needs of passengers.  Whether working, reading, relaxing, or enjoying privacy, every guest can tailor their lounge visit to their individual needs.  A wide selection of food, beverages, magazines, and newspapers round out the visit.  The lounge offers a refreshed concept that combines the Lufthansa brand with the character of the Stuttgart.  The three concepts of ‘dynamic, industrial, and mobile’ shape the conceptual approach and architectural design.
