Lufthansa Offers Two New Greek Destinations From Munich and Frankfurt For Summer 2020

Lufthansa announced Wednesday that they have added service from Munich to Zakynthos and Frankfurt to Rhodes for the Summer 2020 season.

Today, Lufthansa announced the addition of two new eastern Mediterranean destinations for summer 2020 holidaymakers. With new service from Munich to Zakynthos and Frankfurt to Rhodes, German holidaymakers will now enjoy 14 weekly connections to five Greek Islands in addition to service to Athens and Thessaloniki.


Flights are now bookable from Munich to Zakynthos for travel commencing April 4, 2020. Service will be offered to the western Greek island every Saturday on an Airbus A321 with flight LH1762 departing Munich at 2:45PM and arriving Zakynthos 6:00PM. The return flight (LH1763) departs Zakynthos at 7:00PM. An additional weekly A320 flight will be added to the schedule on Wednesdays starting June 3, 2020 and will depart Munich at 3:45PM.

From Frankfurt, holidaymakers will enjoy weekly service every Saturday to the southeastern Greek destination of Rhodes. The route will be serviced with an A320 and the flight (LH 1258) will depart Frankfurt at 1:00PM and Land in Rhodes at 5:10PM. The return Flight (LH1259) departs Rhodes at 6:10PM, arriving Frankfurt at 8:30PM. Between June 6 and September 15th, Lufthansa will add a second weekly flight to Rhodes which will operate on Tuesdays.
