The Lufthansa Group has purchased four additional Airbus A350-900 widebody long-haul jets. The aircraft will be acquired from Deucalion Aviation Limited and delivered later this year.

On Tuesday (May 23, 2023), the Lufthansa Group announced that they have signed contracts for the purchase of four additional Airbus A350-900s. The aircraft will be acquired from Deucalion Aviation Limited and will be delivered to the Group in 2023. Lufthansa currently operates 21 Airbus A350-900s and has ordered four more of the type, as well as 10 Airbus A350-1000s as of March 2023. In total, Lufthansa currently holds 38 firm orders for this highly-efficient long-haul aircraft, making the company the third largest Airbus A350 customer in the world.
