Lufthansa Group’s Winter 2025/26 Schedule is Now Available for Booking

Lufthansa Group has published their schedule for the upcoming winter season.  The schedule features more Allegris connections than ever, including flights from Munich to New York, Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, Bengaluru and Tokyo.

On Tuesday (May 20, 2025), Lufthansa Group announced the publication of their winter 2025/26 flying program, which is now available for booking, for flights starting October 26, 2025.  This includes winter schedules for Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings and Discover Airlines.  For winter 2025/26, Lufthansa will offer additional long-haul flights with the new Allegris cabin in Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.  The new aircraft with the state-of-the art cabin interiors will fly daily from Munich to New York (JFK and EWR), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai and Tokyo.  Additionally, Bengaluru in India will be served three times weekly. 

 

Lufthansa will operate ten new Allegris-equipped A350-900s for the winter season.  During 2025, Lufthansa also plans on introducing Allegris in Frankfurt with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and with the retrofitting of their existing fleet, Starting with the Boeing 747-8.

 

In Tuesday’s announcement, Lufthansa Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dieter Vranckx, said,


“A stable, punctual, and reliable flight schedule for all Lufthansa Group airlines for the winter, especially for the Christmas holidays, is our top priority.  Our employees at the airports will ensure that everything runs smoothly.  In addition, with the expansion of the Allegris offering at Lufthansa Airlines, we are bringing a significant upgrade in the premium segment to many core markets.”

Lufthansa will also extend flights from Frankfurt to Bydgoszcz (Poland) and from Munich to Oradea (Romania), currently operating for the summer schedule, into winter.  Lufthansa has also confirmed winter Airbus A380 service from Munich, which includes flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok and Delhi.


For the upcoming winter schedule, Austrian Airlines will add service from Innsbruck to Amsterdam, complementing existing service to Brussels, Warsaw and Copenhagen.  The carrier will also expand capacity between Vienna and Bangkok, with up to two daily flights.  Starting October 26, 2025, Austrian Airlines will now fly to Milan Linate instead of Malpensa, following the takeover of the slots from fellow Group airline ITA Airways.    

 

SWISS will expand service to Krakow, while continuing to offer service from Zurich to Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Košice (Slovakia), which were served for the first time during the winter 2024/25 season.  Service between Zurich and Washington D.C. (U.S.) will also continue for the upcoming winter season.  From Geneva, SWISS will focus on connections to/from the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.

 

For winter 2025/26, Brussels Airlines will expand services from Brussels to Africa, with additional weekly connections to Lomé (Togo), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Monrovia (Liberia), Accra (Ghana), and Freetown (Sierra Leone). 

 

Eurowings, Germany’s largest leisure airline, will offer three weekly frequencies between Berlin and Abu Dhabi from November 2025.  This will become the carrier’s third long-haul route from Berlin, joining service to Dubai and Jeddah.  Eurowings will also increase frequencies between Berlin and Dubai with an increase from seven to up to 11 weekly flights.  Starting November 4, 2025, the carrier will also inaugurate service between Hanover and Dubai, with up to three weekly flights.  Eurowings will also offer twice weekly service from Stuttgart to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.  The airline’s flying program to Egypt will also be expanded for winter 2025/26 with service to Marsa Alam from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.    

 

Finally, Discover Airlines is adding another highlight to their upcoming winter schedule, with new service between Frankfurt and the Seychelles for the first time.  Flights between Munich and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) will also be on Discover’s winter schedule, as well as first-time service between Frankfurt and Alta (Norway).
