Rovaniemi is the capital of the Finnish Lapland and the gateway to winter fun and adventure. The city is the last major outpost as one travels north into the remote wilderness of the Finnish Lapland, which can be explored on snow scooters or by safari with a team of huskies. The city of Rovaniemi also has a lot to offer with a wide array of shops, along with cozy cafés and quaint restaurants. Naturally, children of all ages will take delight in a visit to Santa Park, home of Santa Claus.
