JetBlue has appointed Edward Kayton as the airline’s new Head of Talent and Crewmember Experience effective September 28, 2021. Mr. Kayton joins JetBlue from Spirit Airlines, where he served as Vice President of Human Resources.
On Thursday (September 23, 2021), JetBlue announced the appointment of Edward Kayton as Head of Talent and Crewmember Experience effective September 28, 2021. In his new role, Mr. Kayton will report to JetBlue’s Chief People Officer, Laurie Villa, and will be responsible for leading talent acquisition and management, people data insights, organizational effectiveness, crew relations and values relations. With over 20 years of talent leadership experience, Kayton has shaped effective talent acquisition and management strategies in industries including aviation, specialty retail and technology. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Human resources for Miramar, Florida-based LCC Spirit Airlines.
In Thursday’s announcement, JetBlue’s Chief People Officer, Laurie Villa, said,
