JetBlue Launches Inaugural Flight Between Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee, Florida

JetBlue has today launched new service between Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee with introductory one-way fares from $49.  The route will now operate daily with an Airbus A320.

On Thursday (January 4, 2024), JetBlue celebrated the launch of inaugural service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) in Florida’s capital city.  The route will now operate daily with an Airbus A320 with introductory one-way fares from $49 available only on the airline’s website.  JetBlue has an extensive presence in Florida with focus cities in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, as well as service to/from Miami, West Palm Beach, Key West, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Sarasota/Bradenton and Tampa. With the new Tallahassee route, JetBlue now serves over 40 destinations from Fort Lauderdale. 


In Thursday’s announcement, JetBlue’s Head of Government Affairs and Associate General Counsel, Robert Land, said,


“We are thrilled to introduce much needed competition and relief to a route that has suffered from high fares for decades.  This new route further demonstrates our commitment to the Sunshine state and to providing low fares, great service and connectivity to customers in Fort Lauderdale, Tallahassee and beyond.”


Also commenting on the new Tallahassee service, FLL’s CEO and Director of Aviation, Mark Gale, added,
